Della Terra ® is a dream come true for Proprietor Judi Ratto who grew up visiting the family’s orchard in Orland, CA.
Over the years she developed a passion for good food and homemade oils that were an integral part of every meal. After many trips to Northern Italy and an introduction to blending the most unique and flavorful olives together, Judi and her partner Jean have been able to turn a passion into a thriving business. Della Terra Oils sources olives in small batches from her family trees and other selected trees in Northern California.
Together with their partner Ray who has over 45 years in the Olive Oil industry they crush the fruit, rack it, and blend it to give it the Della Terra grassy, fruity and naturally delicious flavor, with a rich, green beautiful color and a slight peppery finish. Della Terra prides itself on quality and attention to detail and all of the Oils are certified by the California Olive Oil Council. Since making the oils they have begun sourcing the best 25 year Cask Aged Balsamic from Modena, Italy and making it available to you under the Della Terra name, which means “of the earth”. They have tasted so many balsamic’s but none like their own! Their Cask Aged Balsamic has delicious port and madeira undertones giving you the traditional balsamic taste. You’ll love this balsamic!
