Balsamic Glazed Chicken
Enjoy the delicious flavor combination of the aged balsamic vinegar and the tender chicken!
INGREDIENTS
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon Della Terra Extra Virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup Della Terra balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
PREPARATION
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the balsamic vinegar, honey, minced garlic, and dried rosemary. Stir well to combine.
- Cook the mixture over medium heat until it starts to thicken and reduce, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the chicken broth to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, making sure to coat them well with the balsamic glaze.
- Reduce the heat to low and simmer the chicken in the glaze for about 10 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.
- Serve the Balsamic Glazed Chicken with your choice of sides, such as roasted vegetables or a salad.
