A tender pastry crust topped with sweet roasted onions and just a hint of herbs make this French onion tart a party favorite. 

INGREDIENTS

PREPARATION

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. On a sheet pan, drizzle olive oil, balsamic vinegar, thyme, Parmesan, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice and place white pearl onions on top.
  4. Cover with a rectangle cut of puff pastry dough and press down on all sides. It should look like a pop tart. Then brush with egg wash.
  5. Place in the oven until golden brown, roughly 20 minutes.
  6. Flip tart over and serve with whatever garnishes you'd like.
